An ambitious CPA candidate and forensic accounting consultant with a background in corporate taxation, individual taxation, and healthcare, former marketing manager Jayla Trinh contributes nuanced legal knowledge, invaluable financial insights, and sophisticated analytical skills to our team of accountants and tax attorneys. Applying her investigative abilities as a forensic accountant, Ms. Trinh plays a vital role in assessing the evidence against taxpayers and business owners who are under audit or under criminal tax investigation. She also is very adept at forensic accounting related to divorce.

After graduating in 2013 from the University of California, where she was an active member of the Accounting Society Club, Ms. Trinh transitioned from marketing and account management to forensic accounting, a position in which she was responsible for reviewing and analyzing financial statements, individual tax returns, and corporate tax returns; preparing business valuation reports; and examining divorce-related legal documents to identify potential tax and financial issues. A fluent Vietnamese speaker, Ms. Trinh can also provide bilingual tax support for expatriates, foreign companies, and U.S. persons with assets, properties, or financial accounts located in Vietnam.
