Is an accepted Offer in Compromise public record?

Accepted offers in compromise are subject to public inspection for a period of one year after the date of execution. For one year after acceptance of an OIC the IRS makes available for inspection and copying each accepted OIC and a copy of its associated Form 7429 – Offer Acceptance Report at a location within the geographic area of the taxpayer’s residence.
