Using two or more separate situs Wills can possibly speed the administration of a multi-jurisdictional estate (i.e. where your property is located in several countries). However, this is a difficult question to answer in the abstract. It will, of course, depend upon which countries are involved, and it will also depend, of course, upon whether the Wills are properly drafted. As explained elsewhere, special care must be given to draft either a single multi-jurisdictional Will or several single-jurisdictional Wills.
